The closest slates to here are those of the Lake District but they are not necessarily the cheapest. Perhaps we should think about \u2018rock miles\u2019 or the distance rocks travel nowadays and their carbon footprint?<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Gordale Teaching Room\" href=\"http:\/\/weblab.open.ac.uk\/blogs\/malham\/gordale-teaching-room\/\"><em>Walk out of the courtyard right to the front of the house and enter through the porch and entrance hall. Go up the first flight of stairs. At the top turn left and go through the doors.
