    Thanks Meg - an excellent example of engaged research in action.

    I think you're also spot on in acknowledging some of the challenges for researchers wishing to engage via social media.

    Researchers need time and resources to be able to commit to engaged research, whether this is via social media, or other forms of engaged research.

    And they need support mechanisms to be in place to help to collect the types of evidence that demonstrate excellence in this work.

    Ultimately, researchers also need to have confidence that when they do this sort of work really well they can expect to be rewarded for it.
